The Southern Nevada Seniors Helping Seniors (SHS) Energy Conservation Program is a conservation program designed to help qualified homeowners reduce their utility bills by improving the energy efficiency of their homes.
To Qualify for this free Program Candidates must:
- Be at least 55 years old or disabled
- Own your home, mobile home, or condominium
- Have an annual income at or below $27,380
- Be a Southwest Gas Customer
- Home has to be over 5 years old
If the homeowner qualifies, volunteer Senior Energy Consultants will visit the home, and make practical conservation recommendations. As part of their consultation they will install FREE energy conservation materials that will help save energy and money throughout the year and will also provide customers with senior assistance, referrals, and a detailed energy conservation booklet.
